15 Aug 2019 The CME offers an options contract on natural gas futures. Options are also a derivative instrument that employ leverage to invest in commodities. Things to know about the contracts: Natural gas futures prices are based on delivery at the Henry Hub in Louisiana. Traded electronically on CME Globex and off-exchange for clearing only as an EFS, EFP or block trade through CME ClearPort. Options types include American, calendar spread, European and daily. Example: E-mini Natural Gas Futures contracts are traded in 0.005 increments and the full-sized Natural Gas in 0.001 increments. All market data contained within the CME Group website should be considered as a reference only and should not be used as validation against, nor as a complement to, real-time market data feeds.
